Garachico & North Coast Ride

Garachico was once the island's main port until a 1706 volcanic eruption buried much of it in lava — today that same lava forms El Caletón, a series of natural swimming pools right on the coast. This half-day ride follows the dramatic north coast road, one of the most scenic and least touristy routes on the island, finishing with time to explore Garachico's cobbled streets and, weather permitting, a dip in the pools.

The Route

1. Meet at Costa Adeje — safety briefing and gear fitting
2. Ride north along the coast road through Icod de los Vinos
3. Arrive in Garachico — free time to explore the old town and harbour
4. Visit El Caletón, the natural volcanic swimming pools
5. Coffee stop with sea views
6. Return south along the coast, arriving back early afternoon
